On 8thJuly 2022, FPSO ANITA GARIBALDI MV33 Hull Conversion and Topsides Integration Project which is constructed by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Changxingdao Shipyard Co., Ltd. for MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) Pte Ltd. has completed its two important module lifting missions, which further pushed forward the overall progress of project construction.

　　The module lifted on July 7 was 2S (VRU module) with the total lifting weight (including rigging) of 1510 tons. In order to ensure the scheduled completion of module lifting, the project team and logistics/hull workshops made adequate preparations, actively coordinated lifting resources according to the tonnages of module, well plan the lifting scheme and strictly implement security works. Floating crane was berthed alongside the barge on 6:30 am and started hooking on 9:00 am with the module left the barge slowly, moved towards MV33 hull on the sea surface, and berthed nearby the given position of the hull on 12:00 am. Next, the module was installed on the module support, soldered and sealed quickly. On 18:00 pm, the overall lifting work was completed and unhooked.

　　With the successful liftingof 2S module, the project team initiated the lifting workof 3Smodule (Export Gas Compression Module) with the total liftingweight of 2205 tons on July 8. By comparing with 2Smodule, the overall progress of 3S module was improved in stability. In the end, the liftingmission was completed smoothly and the consecutive two-day liftingwork was finished, laying a good foundation forsubsequentliftingwork.

　　It was worth mentioning that despite consecutive liftingof modulesrecently, intensivelifting workwindow phases and huge workload, DSIC ChangXing project members made concerted efforts to overcome difficulties and guarantee both quality and quantity of module-liftingin virtue of mature module-liftingexperience and professional team work. With the smooth liftingof 2S and 3Smodules, there are still a series of liftingmissions such as 5S2 and PW modulesto be finished. The project team will strictly complete the liftingof modules, carry out module integration, actively guarantee systematic completion and fully push forward the integrity of the project.
